Sin dalle sue prime opere degli anni '50, Donadi si appassiona alla figura umana, con poche eccezioni per alcune nature morte, ritratti e autoritratti. Nel '63 tiene la sua 1° mostra personale, e galvanizzato da ciò si dedica alla pittura, scultura e grafica.. Abbandona la pittura figurativa ed elabora un astrattismo informale di grande forza espressiva. Si serve prevalentemente della sua tecnica del collage,utilizzando materiali di vario genere, quali: cemento, carta, cartone e legno. Negli anni '70 viaggia in Europa, Africa Occidentale, in cui trova nuove suggestioni e scopre la pura essenza della pittura definendo così, il suo espressionismo astratto. La sua maturazione artistica si completerà negli anni '80, combattendo i luoghi comuni e sforzandosi di estendere il concetto di arte a tutti gli aspetti della vita. Recupera la pittura figurativa in maniera originale e personale,e in ogni sua opera, inserisce Venezia,non solo come angoli architettonici ma anche come cultura, storia e tradizioni. Espone negli U. S. A. su vari musei e gallerie. Negli anni '90 e 2000 esegue dipinti di grandi dimensioni, popolati da figure allegoriche veneziane e sculture in bronzo, terracotta. Espone a Venezia, in esclusiva permanente, presso la galleria d'arte GIDIEMME, dove con la famiglia Zuanich, titolare della stessa, stringe un'amicizia vera e profonda. |

From his first operas of the '50, Donadi liked to work on human - figure, with few exceptions for same still - live, portrait and auto-portrait. In '63 Donadi has his first personal show, and happy for this he start to work with devotion to the painting, sculpture and drowing. He quit the figurative stile to elaborate an informal kind of abstractism full of strong expressitivity. He mostly work with the collage - technique, using different kind of materials like: cement, paper, cardboard and wood. In the '70 he travelled in Europa. ,Africa, and in there he find out new suggestions and he descover the real essence of the painting technique, defineing his abstract - expressionism. His artistic - maturation end in the '80, fighting against the normal motives and forcing to make a strong extension to the art concept and to all the aspects of the life. He recover the figurative -painting in a very original and personal way, and in each of his opera,he insert Venezia, "his Love", and not only with views, but also with fragments of venetian culture,history and tradition. Part of his operas are in privat collections in all over the world and in museums. From the '90 to 2000, he make big oil painting,with venetians allegorical figure, bronze and terra - cotta sculptures. He shows in Venezia, in permanent exclusiveness, in GIDIEMME Art Gallery, where with the Zuanich Family, owner of the gallery, he has a very special and deep friendship. |
